Dianna Marusko, Associate Director

My name is Dianna L Henninger Thomas Marusko, I am the Associate Director of the PFCJ. I have been a member of the PFCJ for 30+years as a tabulator. I began tabulating when the judges used the tick system of judging. I was a member of the WGI Championship tabulation staff for several years and I continue to tabulate for local WGI shows.

I began my Colorguard career with the South Greensburg Spinnerettes and then with the Greensburg-Salem HS Colorguard where I was Colorguard captain.

After graduation I was recruited by Joseph Buncie to teach the Derry Patriots Drum & Bugle Corp Colorguard. My first Winterguard teaching job was with the Turtle Creek Caballeros along with Gary Greenawalt and Bob Thomas, the Caballeros won 1st place in their division their first year in competition. I marched with the Erie Thunderbirds along with several other individuals from the Pittsburgh area. For 2 years we made the weekly trip to Erie to march with the Thunderbirds.

I continued to teach for the next 30 years working with various units in our area. Including the CD of A-All Girl Drum & Bugle Corp Butler, PA, General Butler Vagabonds, Steel City Ambassadors, Grand Illusion Colorguard, Penn Hill Vanguard, Forest Hills Rangerettes, McKeesport Drill Team, Top Hats Colorguard. High School Colorguards include Greensburg-Salem HS, Southern Garret HS (The Southern Bells) from Oakland Maryland, Waynesburg HS, Derry Area HS, Ligonier Valley HS, Frazier HS, McKeesport HS, Latrobe HS, Kiski Area HS, and South Park HS.

I have been employed by Leed’s Promotional Product for 16 years as a Key Account Manager. In 2002 I graduated from Seton Hill College Suma cum Laude with a BA in Business Management/Marketing. I was commissioned in 2009 as an Aaron Minister/Lay Minister for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

I am married to Robert (Rocco) Marusko I have 2 daughters DeAnna and Erika, 2 step children Briana and Joe and a grandson Owen. It is so true grandchildren are the best, when you allow yourself to see the world through their eyes you may be surprised how wonderful life can be.

Quote by Chee Vai Tang “If we all could see the world through eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything.”
