Jill Strangis


Jill Strangis is currently the Bandfront Coordinator for the Peters Township Marching Band. She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. She was a member of the West Virginia University Mountaineer Marching Band where she was a rank leader and color guard captain. Mrs. Strangis has been a performer, instructor, consultant and/or adjudicator with several music programs such as the Bentworth HS Marching Band and Winter Guard, Greater Latrobe HS Marching Band and Winter Guard, Trinity HS Band, Carlyton HS Band, Ripley HS Band (WV), Brooke HS Band and Winter Guard (WV), the WVU Mountaineer Marching Band and Winter Guard and the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band.

Mrs. Strangis has been a color guard judge, marching/movement judge and tabulator locally and nationally for the past 25 years. She is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Contest Judges and has been a judge for the American Legion National Convention Color Guard Championships for 12 years.

Jill is married to Dan Strangis and is the proud mother of Serafina Strangis and Gabriela Strangis.
